Please check the above and confirm if there is an error message or not.
There is a possibility of insufficient memory in the JVM heap area.
Please check the following:
- The memory area of installation destination
As the recommended minimum configuration of the installation guide, the memory capacity is specified as follows. If the memory is insufficient, please increase the memory capacity.
- Maximum memory limit
It is possible that the maximum limit is set to the memory available for Java processes if you are using a Windows OS server or a Linux environment. Please make sure that memory usable for each process is not limited.
- Effects of anti-virus software
If you have anti-virus software installed, it is possible that the anti-virus software may consume a large amount of memory for a second due to a startup of Java programs. Please stop the antivirus software temporarily before you start the installer.
- Number of temporary files
The installer acquires file information of the directory specified by java.io.tmpdir upon the installation.
If a large number of files already exist in the directory specified in java.io.tmpdir, the out-of-memory error may occur due to the acquisition of the file information.
Please check the number of files in the folder indicated by the java.io.tmpdir from the installation log. If the number of files is large, take a measure such as deleting temporary files to reduce the number of files.
* In the past case, about 1 million files existed.
- If "Java (TM) Platform SE binary has stopped working." is output
It is possible that monitoring software affected the installation.
Please check the following:
- Stop the monitoring software
In the past case, a user installed software that acquires the operation log and that user was included in the target for acquiring the log. Please stop the monitoring software temporarily or use a user that is excluded from the log acquisition target.
- If any other error or the error is not output
We will investigate to grasp the situation in details. Please refer to the next section "Information Required for Investigation" and obtain a DEBUG mode log and report it to us.
