[DataSpider Servista] A connection error occurs after upgrading DataSpider Servista to 4.2

DataSpider Servista has been successfully upgraded to 4.2, but an adapter connection fails.
Please explain the cause and a way to resolve this problem.
Category :

Answer

In Java DataSpider Servista 4.2, the included Java Runtime Environment (JRE) has been upgraded to 8u181.
For enhanced security, JRE changed the default length of Diffie-Hellman key (hereinafter DH key) used for SSL / TLS connection to 1024 bits or more in version 8u161. If the key length is less than the specified length, the specification has been changed to limit the connection.
As a result of this specification change, if the server or service to which DataSpider is connected does not support a cipher suite with a DH key of 1024 bits or more, the DataSpider can not connect after version upgrade to 4.2.

  • About the JRE version used by the DataSpider
The version of JRE is described in the release note of each version.
Please check the release notes of your version from [Product Information]-[Product Release Information by Product] of the following technical support site.

  • Workaround
If the DH key size is 1024 bits or more in the encryption suite used for SSL / TSL connection in the server and service to which DataSpider is connected, please check if the connection is permitted.
