Answer

The two host names of the connection path used when Salesforce adapter is connecting to Salesforce is given below. The URL to be used differs depending on the respective setting value. For details, refer to the below URL.
  1. Login URL
Differs according to the [API Version] specified in the Global Resource.
  • When API version is 7.0 and 14.0,
  • When API version is 18.0,
login.salesforce.com
  1. URL used for the process after log-in
This differs according to the [Use Sandbox Environment] settings.
  • When ‘Do not use’ is specified
You have to specify the host name of the redirecting URL after you have logged on to Salesforce from the browser. It differs for each organization, therefore logon to the URL from the browser and check by using an account that you use.
  • When ‘Use’ is specified,
Specify the host name of the URL which is specified in [SandBox Environment URL].
Check the URL to be specified in the [SandBox Environment URL] from Salesforce.

  1. Log on to Salesforce SandBox Environment as an administrator user.
  2. Click "Settings" on the right top of the screen.
  3. On the left of the screen, go to "Application Settings" - "Development" and click "API".
  4. Click "Create Partner WSDL".
  5. The value of "soap:address location" in "SforceService" given in the least bottom of the WSDL description is the URL.
Moreover, the port number to be used differs according to the [Use SSL] settings. For more details, refer the below.
  • In case of "Use"
Use HTTPS (443).
  • In case of "Do not use"
Use HTTP (80).
