Answer

You can configure DataSpider Rolling up Settings from "DataSpider Log Settings" of control panel. You can also specify the number of logs to be rolled up and the number of compressed logs to be rolled up.

Logs and the compressed logs will be rolled up during restart of DataSpiderServer or for each 12 hours since the beginning of the start-up.

Number of logs that are to be rolled up

Specified numbers of logs are maintained for specified number of days. The folders are compressed when exceeding the specified number of days.

Number of compressed logs that are to be rolled up

The folders are compressed to ZIP format when exceeding the numbers of logs that are to be rolled up. By default it is set to 5. The ZIP files are deleted when exceeding the number that is set here.

■Location of the logs that are to be rolled up

Roll up the below directory.
${dataspider.home}/server/logs/<Date directory>

Below mentioned logs are shown right below this folder.
  • exec.log (Log that outputs the summary of the script)
  • <Execution ID>.xml (log at the time of script execution)
  • Launch.log (log executed from the startup of external application)
  • Launch_process.log (standard error output log executed from the startup of external application)
