Instead of DataSpider file system, the local file system will be browsed with the Browse button of [Launch External Application].
For that reason, when specifying the file in the network directory, it is necessary to specify the network directory path directly.
It can be set with any of the below methods.
1. Refer to network drive
Allocate the network directory to the network drive by Windows Explorer in advance.
Example)E:、Z:
If you click the Browse button of [Launch External Application], network drive will be displayed. Thereby set the target file from that drive.
* When you start up the DataSpiderServer services, the network drive cannot be browsed. In case of service startup, specify with the UNC specification given below.
2. UNC Specification
It is also possible to directly specify the network drive with UNC specification given below.
\\${Server Name}\test.bat
It can be set by direct input of this UNC specified path manually in the "Launch command" of [Launch External Application].
Further, when accessing the network directory, the login user of Windows in which the DataSpider Server process is started should have the login rights for the server which is in the network directory.
