[DataSpider Servista] When upgrading the DataSpider, is it necessary to upgrade SAPEICS also?
During DataSpider upgrade, is it necessary to even upgrade SAPEICS that is used for connection with SAP?

During DataSpider upgrade, please use "SAPEICS.exe" belonging to the DataSpider itself and service pack etc., and upgrade SAPEICS also.
Modules necessary to be upgraded
- SAPEICS
Please make sure to upgrade conforming to the main unit.
- SAPJCo
Upgrade only when the "Required Software" described in "SAPInstallGuide.pdf" is updated.
■Procedure
- Launch "SAPEICS.exe" and follow the wizard for completing the installation.
- For using the settings created in the previous version, import the EICS repository in the screen "Import Repository".
- If [3.Required Software] of [SAPInstallGuide.pdf] has been updated then install the files under the corresponding versions.

Copy the file sapjco.jar under ${dataspider.home}/server/system/common/lib.
Copy the sapjcorfc.dll and librfc32.dll under system32 directory of the WINDOWS system.
