Answer

First of all, as a method of taking the backup of setting information of DataSpiderServer, export and import of Server migration is recommended. For details, refer to help in Reference Information.

When it is necessary to take backup of the data in the server directly using other tools, taking the backup of Repository DB alone will not be considered as the backup of the entire setting information. In addition to the backup (*) of Repository DB, copy all the directories installed in the DataSpiderServista to the backup directory.

And, the backup of Installation directory and Repository DB should be taken matching with the consistency. Stop DataSpiderServer and various client applications before taking the backup of data.

As it is necessary to maintain the consistency even while restoring from the backup, restore from the acquired backup simultaneously.

*The backup method of Repository DB varies with each database. Implement the procedure recommended by each database.

* The data stored in Repository DB is as given below
  • Data under /etc directory
  • Data under /home directory
  • Data under /share directory
  • User account (User, Group)
  • Mount point (Only database file system)

・Server Migration (Export)
・Server Migration (Import)
