[DataSpider Servista] Expiration of the Trial Version

I am using the DataSpider Servista trial version. Today, the DataSpider service failed to start and the following log was output to server.error.log:
 
[com.appresso.ds.common.kernel.KernelInitializationError: com.appresso.ds.common.license.LicenseExpiredException: Your license has already expired 1 days ago.]

Answer

We confirmed that the following was output in server.error.log:
 
[com.appresso.ds.common.kernel.KernelInitializationError: com.appresso.ds.common.license.LicenseExpiredException: Your license has already expired 1 days ago.]
 
■Cause
From the above message, it is assumed that the license key has expired.
The evaluation license key is available for 30 days. It cannot be used because it has been 30 days since the start date.
 
■Workaround
A license key for the DataSpider trial version can be issued up to 3 times.
*The trial copies can be used for up to 90 days. The key issue is limited to three times in total. (30 days x 3 times) Please issue the license key again from myHULFT
 
You can also use the reissued license file to replace your current license file.
 
The license file will be license.lic in "$ DATASPIDER_HOME / server / lic
 
The license file can be replaced by the following procedure."
  1. Stop various DataSpider Servista applications.
  2. Move the existing license files from the $DATASPIDER _ HOME/server/lic directory to another directory.
  3. Place the new license file in the $DATASPIDER _ HOME/server/lic directory.
  4. Start the DataSpiderServer and the DataSpider Studio.
Please make sure that only one file "license.lic" or "LICENSE.LIC" is placed in $ DATASPIDER_HOME / server / lic.
