[DataSpider Servista] About the DataSpider Servista version upgrade along with the OS upgrade

We are considering an OS upgrade because the Windows OS on the DataSpider installation machine will no longer be supported.
Do we also need to upgrade the DataSpider?

Answer

As a precaution when updating the OS, it is necessary to confirm that your DataSpider version supports the upgraded OS version.
You can check each version of DataSpider and the corresponding OS version from the following:
 
- DataSpider Servista Operating Environment

If you want to search the corresponding DataSpider from the OS, please use [Search from Operating Environment] from the top menu on the [DataSpider Servista Operating Environment Search] page.
 
Please note that DataSpider Server and DataSpider Studio only work with the same version.
For example, you cannot configure the DataSpider Server version 3.2 with the client terminal that has the version 4.1. If the client terminal is migrated to 4.1, the DataSpider Server must also be updated to 4.1. (The same principle applies to upgraded servers.)
 
Please refer to the upgrade guide for how to upgrade DataSpider and the points you need to check in advance.
The upgrade guide is included in the DataSpider installation media, and the latest version (DataSpider Servista 4.1 SP5) can be downloaded from the following URL.
