[DataSpider Servista] In adapters and logic that can specify encoding, can I specify other than the encodings displayed in the list?

In the adapter and the logic that can specify the encoding, can I also specify other than the encoding displayed in the list?

Answer

Specification

You can specify any encoding that can be used by Java even if the encoding is not displayed in the adapter or logic encoding list.

If it is not displayed in the list, you need to enter it directly to specify. Please refer to "Reference Information" for the encodings that can be specified.

For example, you can also specify the encoding used on general-purpose machines, such as x-IBM930.

Note

DataSpider Servista uses Unicode internally. For this reason, if the characters included in the target character code set (coding set) are not included in the Unicode character code set, garbled characters will occur.

Since the above is a problem that occurs due to the combination of character code sets,
Garbled characters can not be detected from the DataSpider Servista specification.

Reference Information

*When you specify the encoding of the adapter, please specify the value of the column of "Canonical Name for java.nio API".
